To celebrate the sexy theme of Valentine's Day, we here at Serpentine Hair will be bringing you the following scents this month:
Cora Pearl
One of the most famous courtesans ("Grandes Horizontales") of 19th century France, this English expat dazzled Parisian society with her charm and style as she entertained some of the Continent's most powerful men. Our tribute to this sexy lady of the demi-monde is a warm blend of neroli (a nod to the Duc L'Orange, one of Cora's favorite benefactors,) and rose--a classic symbol of passion and beauty. Like its namesake, this blend is a stylish twist on some old classics.
Lascivious
A gorgeous, heady floral blend of calla lilly, rose, and a slight cool undertone of bamboo, this is a seductive scent that captures the interest and imagination of all who behold it. Very sexy, very red, and very likely to inspire impure thoughts in the object of your desire, this is a great blend for the boudoir!
And for those who couldn't care less about that kind of thing, we'll be bringing you the following as well:
Warhol
A fresh, unisex scent of cucumber and bamboo, this scent embodies the cool, urban energy of one of the late 20th century's most famous artists. Fresh, stylish, and all-around fabulous, this is a tribute to the soul of the quintessential American artist--alive, original, and inexhaustably energetic. (Silver hair dye optional.)
Halve Maen
Originally a customized blend to commemorate the wedding of two die-hard New Yorkers, this blend is being released to the general public to commemorate the quadricentennial of Henry Hudson's journey up the mighty river (and major artery of the Empire State,) that now bears his name. Named after the vessel that brought Hudson and his crew to these shores, Halve Maen (or "Half Moon",) combines both tulip and peppermint fragrances in a nod to both the Dutch history of NY, as well as the area's crisp, cold winters.
